I confess: I’m a maniac when it comes to getting information about the various components in my PC. And I like to test those components a lot too. Recently I came across a nice freeware program called PC Wizard 2008, which offers a lot of goodies with a neat interface. Let’s check it out.

You can get the program downloaded and installed in only a couple of minutes. And after that, all the information that you could possibly want about your computer is at your fingertips.

You can switch through the various modes through the left side panel. So, from hardware we go to configuration…

… and then to system files…

The information is on the right side panels, and on the bottom ones you can choose between written information and graphics.

… and then resources …

… and finally a various range of benchmarking tools!

I was impressed with two things while testing this freeware: the nice interface and the very detailed and thorough information that it offers. You can even view in real time the temperatures of your CPU, GPU and even Hard Disk Drives!
