Dropbox is a free program and web service that allows you to share files with the world.

Drobpox was recommended to me by some of my users who liked it better than the free file sharing program that I was using, Giga Tribe. After quite a long while I decided to give it a go.
After you download the program you must set up an account with name, email address and, of course, a password.

After creating an account you can choose where to have your Dropbox folder in your computer and then populate it with the files that you want to share. And that’s quite everything you have to do with the program on your PC. The rest of it is online, using the web interface.

You can go to your folder and right click on any file to get the download link. After that nobody stops you from giving the link to your friends. Quite simple. And the good thing is that the files that you add to the folder are automatically synced, so you don’t have anything to worry about.
Another option is to create a shared folder using the web interface, and with that you can share files with your friends that are using Dropbox too.
