FL Studio is a powerful software solution that allows the creation of songs and loops using professional tools such as state of the art mixers, equalizers, integrated instruments and more.

Although it’s such powerful software, it’s kind of easy to install Fruity Loops. It takes a while, that’s true, but only because it has to copy a lot of instruments and samples to allow you benefit the most from the advanced functions bundled into the app.

There’s one thing to be mentioned, though. While installing Fruity Loops you will also be asked to install some additional components which aren’t need by the software to work properly. Softpedia marked the application as ad-supported, so take your time when installing it in case you don’t want some unnecessary tools.

Everything should work like a breeze though, as during our test we needed just a minute or two before all files have been successfully copied on the computer.

In case you’re not a power user and you’ve never used Fruity Loops or other program like that before, your first date with FL Studio will be a nightmare.

Always running in full screen, Fruity Loops has one of the most complex interfaces we’ve ever seen, with a lot of things placed in the left side of the screen, while the right side is exclusively used for mixing the tune. Don’t worry though, there are a lot of tutorials on the Internet, plus the Help section of the app which should lend you a hand if you’re still in trouble when it comes to creating music.

Fruity Loops has a lot of options and configuration settings, but we’d recommend you to change them only if you’re a pro or in case your app doesn’t work the way it should. You can also add new plugins for even greater functionality, although the software comes with almost everything you’ll need to do your first steps as a beginner, such as instruments, mixers, special effects, filters and many, many other tools.

FL Studio is quite light on computer resources, but you’ll still need a fast machine to be able to do more things at the same time and edit your tracks instantly without being bothered by huge loading times. Plus, you’ll need significant storage space to save the created tunes, as well as the additional samples and instruments that you may download from the Internet.

The conclusion is pretty simple: you will need this app if you really want to be a DJ. You will have to pay a reasonable fee, but you should consider it the first, and probably the most affordable, investment in your career as an international artist.
