The installation process takes about 2 minutes because after installing Apex Free 3GP Video Converter you are invited to install the latest version of the Xvid encoder and the Windows Media 9 Runtime. The interface is quite simple, very good for a newbie or for a very busy user.

The conversion process took me about 50 minutes for a 58 minutes .avi file, and that’s quite good speed (it surely depends on your computer specifications and hardware equipment you might have). What I found annoying is that as soon as you finish the conversion the program points your web browser to the page of the commercial version of this software and invite you to buy it. It’s more powerful, but I wouldn’t pay for it.
