CleanAfterMe
You all know that the Windows Operating system leaves a lot of temporary files on your hard disks, and that can slow your system down a lot. CleanAfterMe is a small freeware program that promises to take care of all those files. Let’s see how it works.
The download and installation process will take about… 5 seconds I reckon. The program doesn’t need to be installed, it’s just an executable. And it’s size is only a bout 32 KB.
After you select the type of stuff that you want cleaned up you can click “clean selected items“. There will be no progress bar showing you how the process is going, just some warnings now and then.
The clean up process took about one minute, and after that you can see each file that was deleted in the log. And that’s about it, no undo option, nothing.
CleanAfterMe will work for Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. It’s small and quite easy to use, works fast and delivers.
