MozBackup 1.4.8
Did you ever find yourself with all the Firefox bookmarks and passwords lost after a system crash? Well, I did, and that was frustrating. More than frustrating actually. The other day I found a freeware program called MozBackup, and that’s what I needed before the system crash. Well, at least I’ll be ready for the next one!
Basically this freeware allows you to backup and then restore if needed all the essential stuff in Firefox: bookmarks, cache, passwords, certificates, contacts, history, extensions, mail. Let’s see how it works. First you have to choose either backup or restore mode and the browser you are using. I chose backup and Firefox.
Then select the profile you want to backup.

Tick what you want to have backed up…

And then wait about a full minute.

And you’re done! The good thing is that this freeware doesn’t work just for Mozilla Firefox, but it does the job for several other programs: Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla Sunbird, Flock, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Suite, Spicebird and Netscape.
